hey guys!haha.i'm back to blogging again..hmm,queensland trip was so fun.though i was the only girl there out of 11 pple..made some new friends.both from the team and some from aus.oh,and shana is super popular in aus!haha.alot of swimmers know her..yeah,our schedule was very tight.day 1:we touched down then waited 2 hours at the airport,which was damn boring.then we took a cab down to the griffith university hostel and settled down.unpacked our stuff,took a rest,then we headed down to the pool for training.the university pool,which was very dirty..haha.and it was short course,and didn't have a 5m flag!okayy,we walked up this super ultra long slope,uphill.and we had to climb the stairs.it was a 10 min walk!so i mainly did fly for best form.and i died!haha.after we came out of the water it started raining heavily!there was a storm.so we waited for almost 45 mins before the rain cleared up.then we walked back again.then we had our long awaited dinner!cause we wanted to try out the food there.it was quite nice.then we ate ice-cream!yummy!we had some time left,so we went to the shopping mall,all 13 ppl squeezed into one car!haha.then we only shopped for a while before we went back.which we went to each other rooms to talk,play cards and stuff.then we played for like an hour before we went to bed.the rooms with the lights off at night is very dark!you can't even see a thing!then i on the lights and sleep.like,i wasn't the only one who didn't off the lights,cameron and zi yang left it on too!haha.
day 2: was mostly the same,woke up,got changed,had bacon,eggs,bread,cereal all the different stuff for breakfast then we went down to the pool for another round of training.we trained two times that day.oh,you know when its only 4.30 am in the morning,the sky is like very bright alr!haha.and the crows will be like up.and making so much noise!and they sound like they're calling mark!haha.so we kept saying'mark!your friend calling you!'lol.
day 3:morning was the same as the day before,but we trained only once.
day4:we went down to the chandler pool,where the competition was supposed to be held.the place was quite nice.the water was freezing cold too!colder than sports school's.the main set was 10x50 freestyle on 45 sec which was quite easy.then gerald was complaining.haha.he said the water too cold and the set too difficult.lol.so the first group headed back to the hostel first which was nick,haili,gerald,rainer,zi yang and me..there was only one car,so we had to split into two groups.we went back and started playing for abt 2 hours then the other group came back,then we had lunch.then we rested and went to the pool again and swam for a while.then came up.then everyone was disturbing mark chong.haha.we kept knocking on his door,then he refused to open.while we were knocking,he let out this bloody fake yawn,then everyone started laughing.for dinner,ben ong ate 7 scoops of ice-cream!haha.
day 4:TIME TO START RACING!haha.i had 200 free,which i did a stupid shit time of 2.22!that was like so slow!the rest of the team did quite well.only that the 11 years ppl didn't have any events.
day 5:i had 200IM.the event i dislike!did 2.39.44,then qualified for finals,then for finals i did 2.40.okayy,it was darn slow la..
day 6:didn't have any events.so just went down and cheer for the rest of the guys.
day 7:i had 200 back!okayy,i did a 2.34 in the heats,cos the coach said not to go fast.i was 2nd in the heats,the girl in my heat did 2.31.9.i was darn scared cos my best was 2.31.8.haha.it was a close fight.yeah,at the 100m turn i lost to her by abt half a body,then i caught up.then i lost at the turn again.haha. it was last lap,so i sprinted.it was the most exciting race i ever had!at 180m i caught up a little bit was like 3/4 a hand behind her.190m:1/2 a hand.195m:1/4 of a hand!last stroke:i won her!!the best part was that i didn't even know i won!but i was like so happy.haha.i did 2.31.6,the girl did 2.31.8..which was close.after my swim i went to collect my 1st medal!that was the best day of the meet!then i had cold dinner.eww!haha.
day 8:100 back!heats i did a negative split!!haha.36.97 and 35.68.did a 1.12,was 4th..then finals i went a 1.11.22 was 3rd.which was still good,ended up annabelle anderson got 1st with a 1.09 and lucy bruton with a 1.10...still,i did a PB!yeah,then mark was asking everyone for free soap cos he wanted to wash his clothes but didn't want ot pay 20 cents!so in the end he got some from the coach,then he started shouting"free soap!free soap!i'm not sharing!"then we all started laughing la..
day 9:100 free,the swim was terrible.1.05..thats slow!argh!could have gone a 1.04.but,oh well,i'll try for JAG.finals for the last day was fun.we went around exchanging shirts and caps with ppl from aus.oh,and jed has got this crush on this aus girl.so i helped him get the girl's email add and her number.haha.then ben helped me exchange a shirt with a guy.after that we went to take photos at the pool.just when everone thought that we were done taking photos,a few of the guys carried mark chong up,wanted to throw him into the diving pool.but our coach ran up to us saying that he wanted to take more photos!argh!then he knew that we were gonna push him in,so the stayed far away from the pool,so we pushed cameron instead,then he started shouting the 'f' word.haha.
day 10:we went to the gold coast beach!!we set off at 5.50,cos jed,ben and gerald woke up late,then we got scolded la.haha,but it was so fun!after the comp was over,it was time to relax!haha.we ate hungry jacks.the coaches were so nice to pay for us.haha.then after breakfast we went to the beach!first we played in the sand,the we went into the water!okayy,i know we were warned not to go into the water cause there were sharks and jellyfishes there.but we still went in.the water was nice,it was cold,there were ppl surfing there.oh,and we saw someone drown.haha.then we were supposed to bury mark chong in the sand,but didn't get the chance to.haha.then we caught our flight back to sin.
queensland was very fun.haha.yeah,i think thats all.there was a billard room there,which we went down to play almost everyday.haha.the team did pretty well,12 golds.3 from nick,1 from haili,2 from mark,1 from rainer,1 from cameron,1 from me,1 from ben,and 2 from the relays.silver i think 7 bronze,we had quite a few.everyone did quite well.

repeat offenders for waking up late:gerald.we had to wake him up every morning.and haili,first two days and last day he was late.
thats all i'm gonna type abt e qld trip!
we celebrated john's birthday yesterday.we went to billy bommers after training.quite alot of pple went.haha.we ate ribs,fries and onion rings!then christel took the ones home for her dog.after dinner we went to take neoprints!then we went home.okayy.gonna typing now.gotta go catch some rest!cos we're doing heart rate set later!all below 1.10!oh shit!seeya guys!:)take care!
