OMG. Berlin was awesome! (: although the 12 hour

flight there was killer. And then we had to take another

flight to Berlin again which was 1h30min. The worst

part was that on our way to London we flew past

Berlin! ):< Turbulence on the plane was SO bad,

partly cos we flew past Cyclone Sidr in Bangladesh. We

could feel the plane rocking really badly and thought we

were gonna die. Then we went off to Berlin from Heathrow

airport where most of the shops were closed. It was really

cold when we stepped out, as in REALLY cold. Richard and

Nick were fascinated by the fact that whenever we spoke

there would be some smoke thingy. Haha. But we don't

experience that in Singapore. I was expecting some city

with pretty little Victorian houses with 3 levels with a gate

leading to the door and a small backyard. Yknow all those

kind you read in books. But no, it was buildings not more than

6 stories high painted in dull color and stuff. Kindof like the

1960s feel, but it was really peaceful there. We were supposed

to stay at Park Inn ( some really damn good hotel) , but we

stayed at Park Plaza, which was 10 mins walk away from

the pool. Everything there was small! The lift could only

take 5 people -.- Haha. And the pillow and bed was small too ):

It was very cold there, about -1 to 5 degrees. Too bad

it didn't snow, if not we would at least have some source

of entertainment. There was nothing at the hotel that

was interesting for us to do ):< No malls around or

whatsoever, Just one huge Burger King. Haha.

First day lunch and dinner was

really really good. Cos the other teams weren't there

yet and we got to eat in the restaurant. Went for a

swim after lunch and we got to see the pool which was

totally covered up, and i felt so suffocated in there!

We went out the second day after swimming in the morning (: went to

Alexanderplatz where everything was overpriced and

expensive. We were looking for board games cos we had

nothing to do in the hotel, but didn't buy any cos they

were all in German -.- yeah, it was quite fun.

I'm not gonna post in detail about everything. If

not this post is gonna be 9286548593 words.

Talking is much easier, so you can ask me if you

wanna know what we did. Haha. Oh, and i got to eat hotdog.

It was ooohhh. Just great. Eating hotdog is a MUST thing in

Germany. I must say i ate quite alot during this trip D:

We got lost on the way back from Alexandreplatz!

There were no taxis so we took the tram, i think

we took wrong tram/wrong direction/wrong number

of stops. So we ended up in an unknown place. And we

started asking for directions and stuff. But no one knew

where our hotel was ( probably cos its not good) then

we managed to get a cab. And all of us squeezed into one :O

Most of the time was spent in the room. Me and Edith

reading books and stuff. Did lots of talking with Richard

and Nick too. But i can't say what (: Mostly on relationship

and stuff, and it was really hilarious.

In Berlin, dogs are allowed in malls and the tube! Haha.

But its amazing how quiet they stay when they're in public places.

Comepetition was HARD. It has got to be the toughest leg of

the World Cup! 35 countries altogether. Nick descibed it as

'the toughest shit ever' Haha. World record breakers got

to bring a car home! Oh wow. I was last for one event, and

second last for the rest. Lol. We had a whole free day after

the competition and we wanted to go out shopping, but all

the shops there were closed on Sundays! ): So we just

stayed in the hotel and rot, played with alphabet biscuits,

take pictures, talk and everything else. Watched The

Grudge at night, but it was in German. So we were just

watching and covering our faces when the scary parts

came. And while flicking through the channels, Nick came

accross some porn channel, and he told Richard to wake up.

Haha. So the four of us just sat on the bed and watched porn

( i don't usually do okay) Went shopping the next day

before flying off to London. Seriously, Berlin is some

Chocolate Land/Chocolate Factory. I've never ever seen

such a colorful variety of chocolates! Needless to say,

i bought alot of chocolates, caramel ones for Rainer, who's

off in Brazil now. He'd better buy my Havaianas for me! (:

Cos i bought alot of things for him. I managed to bet a new

pair of Birkenstock, as they're manufactured in Germany

and i can buy like 2 pairs there if i were to buy one here.

Berlin was just great, with all the nice people Nick,

Richard and Edith and Coach David too. Who

was super lame, but nice. I guess thats all about Berlin, i'll

blog about London another day, maybe Monday. And i'll

post all the pictures soon, when i upload them. Get to

see how gay Nick and Richard is. Haha (: On yeah, did

i mention that some stupid idiot stole my glasses?

Dammit. Wth. The freaking moron!

I had to borrow Nick's spectacles

for a few days. Oh well, thanks anyway! (:

Meanwhile, its back to training once again. Had training

yesterday after not swimming for 5 whole days D: I

thought i was gonna die and drown. Especially

when the set was my favorite set ( sense the sarcasm?)

30x100 one hard one easy. Thanks god i got to do

freestyle, not back. If not i would have swam until i

cried, i really mean it. But surprisingly, i did quite well.

I think i did. Haha. I was holding 6s and 7s. Kindof

the same as what i did before i left. I'm pretty amazed (:

Had a good dinner with mummy yesterday

at my favorite place :D :D I've got my cousin's wedding

later, i don;t feel like going, its just gonna be 'I do'

Then the bride and groom kisses and stuff. And

with all the relatives. I wish my sister was here ):

Enchanted tomorrow! (: I hope it'll be good (:

Gotta go for the wedding lunch now.

-I'm glad i left my thoghts of you in a

faraway place and i know you're never coming back.
